Victorian Heritage Day- Falls Church, VA 1898, Saturday May 17, 10AM-2PM
This year, the Victorian Society in Falls Church will be presenting “Victorian Heritage Day” at Cherry Hill Park in the City of Falls Church.
Falls Church became a township in 1875, so we will be elebrating the 150th anniversary with a variety of displays and activities designed to educate the public about the lives of the ordinary citizens of Falls Church and how their environment was shaped by innovations and world events. The focus is the Victorian Era in general, so participants should be dressed in clothing from the 1870s – 1890s (no Civil War or Edwardian). We have already lined up several members, but can always use more.
If you have an idea and would like to participate, please contact Terry Hooper at [email protected] as soon as possible.
If you don’t wish to be a part of the event, please consider rounding up your family and friends to attend. It is really important to do our best to make this event a big success!
Location: Cherry Hill Farmhouse Park, 312 Park Ave. Falls Church, VA 22046
