Camping With Continentals gives visitors three different ways to step into the world of the Battle of Brandywine encampment. During the day, guests can move through camp, talk with the soldiers, and jump into musket drills, daily routines, and the work that kept an army ready for battle. The anticipation before battle was palpable, and now you have the chance to experience it the same way Washington and his men did 250 years ago.

As evening settles in, we cordially invite you to dine with General Washington and the Marquis de Lafayette at his headquarters in the Benjamin Ring House. After dinner, camp life comes alive with music, games, and the kind of lively moments that carried soldiers through long campaigns.

For anyone who wants the full experience, an overnight stay on the grounds is the closest you can get to the night before battle.

In the evening, consider dinner with General Washington and the Marquis de Lafayette inside of Washington’s Headquarters.

A light breakfast will be provided the next morning by members of the 5th Masonic District.
