Dads, Dairy & Moo-velous Fun at Johnston Farm
Forget the neckties and grill tools — this Father’s Day weekend, give Dad something he really wants: ice cream, cow encounters, and free admission!

On June 14 and 15, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Johnston Farm & Indian Agency in Piqua, Ohio, is churning up a weekend of farm-fresh fun for the whole family. Dads & Dairy is our tribute to Father’s Day and National Dairy Month rolled into one big scoop of old-fashioned goodness. Explore the historic Johnston House and historic area (where you’ll find the cheese-making demo), pop into the museum, and head out to the 1808 barn where there’s milking in action and plenty of friendly farm animals (yes, including heifers who love the spotlight).

The cherry on top? Free milk and ice cream for everyone, courtesy of some very generous area dairies. There’s even a chance to learn how pollinators help keep pastures thriving — in case you want to say you learned something between cones.
