The fort will serve as a historical setting and the public will be invited to step back in time (1776-1779) and immerse themselves in the Siege of Fort Randolph as costumed reenactors bring this historic event to life. A Community event to celebrate America's Birthday in a Patriotic way. The afternoon will feature a vintage baseball game between the Cincinnati Red Stockings and the Ohio Village Muffins, Revolutionary War Reenactments, vendors, food trucks, live musical performances, and several main stage guest speakers.
Fort Meigs is proud to host the 1812 Grand Tactical. Join us as we host hundreds of re-enactors from across the United States and Canada to commemorate the War of 1812 in the Old Northwest Territory. Grand Tactical features military encampments, parade of the armies, musical performances, battle re-enactments, site tours, and more.
Join us on Memorial Day for our annual Ceremonial Wreath Laying, including speeches, military field music, and squad firings to honor those who served here and are laid to rest at Fort Meigs.

Join us this July 4th, 2026 for our largest artillery demonstration of the year! Our historic interpreters are recreating the 18 shot National Salute that soldiers fired here on Independence Day in 1813. The site will be open from 12 p.m.-5 p.m. The 18 Gun Salute takes place at 2:00 p.m.
