Settler's Encampment is a young but growing event held at the historic Auglaize Village and Farm Museum. A fun and interesting site with plenty of room and easy access to the camp area, which is a dedicated area allowing both visitors and participants to literally "step back in time."
Visit a social and business gathering of merchants, traders, artisans, Native Americans, militia members, long hunters, scouts, and other frontier characters. We are portraying Gettysburg this year. This is the 2nd year of "The Blue and The Gray". The first year we had over 140 reenactors and over 1,000 visitors. This year we will have close to 400 reenactors, demonstrators, sutlers and food vendors. We are expanding our acreage to accommodate more cannons and participants.
