The Wool Hat Boys Confederate Military Lodge #1 will be hosting a Masonic Degree on the Resaca GA Battlefield. The first half of the event is open to the public. A memorial service will be given at 10:30am to honor the brave men who fell on this battlefield. Following will be a discussion of the Resaca Battle given by noted historian and battlefield tour guide, Norman Dasinger Jr. Music will be provided the Un-Reconstructed String Band. Lunch will follow the presentation by Mr. Dasinger. The Masonic Degree will commence after lunch, which will be a closed event for qualified Master Masons. The public is welcome to stay for the festivities through lunch. The Wool Hat Boys will be sharing stories from the ACW that demonstrated the bond that existed between Masons in both armies and the assistance that they rendered to one another.
