Remembrance Weekend

November 15 - November 17

Held annually on the weekend closest to the anniversary of November 19, 1863.
Events include:
— On Saturday afternoon, a large parade of Union and Confederate re-enactors, including the USCT, Sons of Union Veterans, and more.

— several Civil War-era balls held at different venues around town, hosted by various groups, on both Friday and Saturday evening

— military band presentations, including a massed concert at Little Round Top on Saturday afternoon

— illumination of gravesites at the military cemetery

— church services, concerts, vendor displays, and more

Attended by hundreds of reenactors and the public. Of particular interest to anyone wishing to get into the hobby.

Because events take place all over town, there’s no one good resource. Provided is the visitor’s bureau address and contact.
