Napoleonic Days

Historic Fort Wayne, Inc. will host the Napoleonic Days August 3-4. The Napoleonic era (1799–1815) was a period of political unrest and widespread revolution in the history of France and Europe. Be a part of this dramatic military period! The French and Coalition armies will meet on the battleground outside the Old Fort in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Military and civilian reenactors will engage in daily life and drills.  Artisans will demonstrate their craft and sell their wares.  The event runs Saturday August 3, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm and Sunday August 4, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. The event is free.

First time participants must submit photos of themselves, members, and camp. First time vendors and blanket traders must attach photos of the camp and time-period appropriate merchandise. Registration deadline is July 19, 2024. Check-in begins Friday at 10:00 am. Saturday check-in is 6:00 am to 8:00 am. Vehicles must leave the grounds by 8:00 am Saturday. Parking is available in the lot across from the fort. Camp areas are assigned.  There are restrooms and a source for water. There are no food vendors on site.
