Mark your calendar now for Sat.  March 22, 2025, when Victoria Brady will present an 1812 Era Historical Clothing Program.  The program will last 1 ½ hour.  The presentation held at the Heritage Hall Christian School, 6401 W River Rd Muncie, IN 47304 which will begin at 10:00 am which is free and open to the public.

Victoria  Brady Biographical Sketch

* Genealogist – including assisting others in joining SAR and DAR.

* Living history participant in the eras of Civil War, French & Indian war,

Revolutionary War, War of 1812, and the 1890s FL frontier.

 

* Author of multiple books on historic topics such as historic foods and cooking techniques and clothing, authored articles on 18th and 19th century material culture for historic magazines including Early American Life, Citizen’s Companion, and the Civil War Courier.

A regular columnist for the Spencer, WV newspaper.  Articles are on gardening in WV- modern and historic contexts.

 

* Both Martin and Vickie make historic clothing for themselves and others.

* Vickie is a member of the DAR for over 30 years, currently Conservation Chair Kanawha Valley Chapter

* Service medals recipient from SAR

* Master Gardener certified in AL and WV – currently Kanawha Valley chapter.

* Certified in the WV Wild Yards program and in Pollinators of WV and the Appalachians.
