Benack 2024

May 4 @ 9:00 AM - May 5 @ 12:00 PM EDT

Benack is an immersive event for public and reenactors.

On Saturday, from 10-2, the public will be able to participate in a variety of demonstrations from spinning wool to building field fortifications. Lunch with the reenactors will include a fashion and arms show. At 1:30 a tactical demo will take place which will be an introduction to the inner workings of a reenactment tactical. This will end with a demonstration of punishments for a deserter and a medical explnation of the period traumas via original texts.

For the reenactors there will be an immersive tactical at 4pm whose scenario will be “raiding a convoy.”  Allied troops will be trying to intercept an Imperial convoy of wagons and cannon on a 1 mile path.
