2nd Civil War Living History Days at South Park

June 14 @ 10:00 AM - June 15 @ 4:00 PM EDT

$10

Visitors can meet authentically clad and equipped military and civilian reenactors who will discuss the everyday lives of Civil War soldiers, and the roles civilians played in supporting them.

Feel the thunder of artillery and hear accounts from civilians in 1860’s and take a stroll through the military camps. Have your picture taken using authentic Wet Plate Collodion Tintype process for purchase.  Join us for a Ladies Tea in the fashion of the civil war era. Take a candlelight tour of the camps Saturday evening.

Re-enactors:
We are looking for 1st-person historical presentations and displays. Set up on Friday. Firewood provided. Food truck will be on-site for both days.
$10 Donation with registration to help defray costs.  We are a non-profit organization, and your donation can be used as a charitable contribution.

If you would like to set up a period authentic camp, please contact event coordinator Valerie Hamill
