The King’s American Regiment / Allison’s Company of Kentucky Militia is an American Revolution reenactment unit based in Springfield, Ohio. We portray an amalgamated detachment of Loyalist Provincial troops, so there is the opportunity to “be” any type of soldier you wish to be, from uniformed Grenadier to militia volunteer, with the goal to tell the story of those Americans who remained loyal to the Crown. We also portray a company of Kentucky Militia attached to George Rogers Clark’s Illinois Regiment of Virginia State Troops. Participation of families is welcomed, as are new or veteran reenactors! Be as involved as you wish to be, with no “mandatory” events, and no minimum attendance requirements. For those with a love of history and a desire to “live” it, our camp and fire are open for you!
