1770’s Living History Encampment & Military Maneuvers

Come join us for a weekend of military maneuvers including musket and cannon fire, fife and drum music, and encampment!

 

Learn about our represented units:

  • 43rd Regiment of Foot (British infantry)
  • 3rd New Hampshire (American infantry)
  • Artillery (Royal and Continental)
  • Fife & Drum (marching band)
  • Royal Chatham Navy
  • Civilian Contingent (camp followers)

 

Learn how a cannon is fired- 18th century style!

Watch a Redcoat regiment march to battle!

Get a close look at how life was lived in the 1770s!

 

There is no charge to attend and donations are appreciated. Parking and restrooms are available. Families and children welcome.

 

We will be located at the end of George Road, off of Highway 507, 1/2 mile southwest of Yelm, WA.

To Encampment: From SR 507, turn west on George RD SE, and continue to the end of the road. Pavement ends after about ½ mile, continue on gravel to end of road. There will be signs along the way.

 

We are a 501(c)3 Living History Association registered in the state of Washington. We are dedicated to presenting and educating about the American Revolution (or American War for Independence, depending on your rebel or loyalist leanings!).
