SUMMARY:Tennessee River Rendezvous
DESCRIPTION:Living History (Timeline) Event.     This event allows the public to experience historically accurate camps/ living historians/ hands on activities/ historical speakers/ & Reenactments (French Indian / Civil War / WW2) plus much more!    2025 will be year 5 for this event!      We currently have living historians from 27 different states join us for this event.    We host the public\, along with local & home school groups on Friday & Saturday.    This event is FREE admittance & parking to the public!   Our average spectator turnout is 6\,000 during the 2-day event.   Saturday evening\, we will host a ” Dance Through Time” on site\, where the public can experience & join in on music and dancing from the Colonial / Civil War/ & WW2 periods.  This is a ticketed event for the public.       Along with the historical activities we will have multiple period sutlers/ craft vendors / period root beer saloon / & multiple food trucks. \nTennessee River Rendezvous

SUMMARY:Ashville Ohio Reenactment Timeline/Grove of Heroes
DESCRIPTION:Held in conjunction with the Ashville Viking Festival\, this event spans all history. All eras are accepted. From the legions of ancient Rome to the colorful mercenaries of the Holy Roman Empire and beyond\, history awaits. Our reenactors look forward to explaining life throughout the ages. Visit our Grove of Heroes and learn how weapons developed and what maneuvers carry forward to today’s soldiers. Discover what foods were eaten\, how medicine and clothes developed\, and what people did for fun. The encampment is adjacent to the Saxon Market which features shopping\, food\, and entertainment.
