SUMMARY:World War II Reenactment July 8-9\, 2023
DESCRIPTION:Participant setup on July 7th. July 8-9 for the reenactment: There will be a camp area\, open to the public\, and then stations where reenactors will discuss different aspects of being a soldier during different points of. the war. We are also looking at having a ‘recruiting area’ for kids\, where they would learn some basic drill – standing at attention\, marching\, etc. We have invited some of the other side (Germans) to join us\, so that some of their perspective can be shared too. There will be public “battles” on Saturday and Sunday to demonstrate some of the different skills and tactics used\, and just how difficult combat could be for the soldiers. \nAll types of military equipment\, supplies\, vehicles to include tracked vehicles are welcome.
