DESCRIPTION:Juried\, Rev War encampment that focuses on the capture and death of Colonel William Crawford in 1782 on the grounds where the capture occurred. Artisans\, Patriot\, Native and British reenactors are welcome. Lantern Tour Fri night\, 2 “captures” each day. Continental breakfast Sat & Sun\, potluck Sat nite for participants\, ham provided. SUMMARY:Nappanee Civil War Days
DESCRIPTION:Come and enjoy this Living History Event featuring President Lincoln\, General Grant and General Beauregard. We will have period kid’s games\, candle dipping\, lady’s skillet toss\, food vendors\, sutlers\, cannon fire\, entertainment\, fireworks\, saloon with root-beer\, beef sticks\, pickles\, candy and honey. Blacksmith\, silversmith\, coppersmith\, potter toymaking demonstrations. Along with battles each day we will have barrel rides\, hay rides\, encampment and period cooking. Get your picture taken with a period/tintype photographer and enjoy period food. DESCRIPTION:Fort Meigs Historic Site examines the veteran armies of Europe and the conflict that engulfed the rest of the world during the War of 1812. This two day encampment and heavy drill session event offers the great opportunity of recruitment and the refinement of military drill to our great guests Brigade Napoleon.  Fort staff offer a period appropriate field tavern and gripping entertainment in both French and English.
